LED PRIMARY BENEFIT CLASS WITH MICHAEL GUIOU

Sunday, December 14th at 10:30am-11:45pm

Join Michael for Sacred Sounds Yoga's first-ever led Ashtanga class. He will lead you through the entire Primary Series of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Method. Ashtanga yoga is the traditional basis of most Power and Flow classes offered in the US today, incorporating jump-throughs and jump-backs to connect a challenging sequence of postures which systematically purify and heal the body, nervous system, and mind. Class will be fast paced, holding as much as possible to the traditional vinyasa count of the system. Come expecting to sweat, to challenge yourself, and maybe laugh at the absurdity of it all.

Cost: $20 suggested donation. Proceeds from this class will be donated to the Axis Project at the Greater New York Chapter of the National Spinal Cord Injury Association where Michael assists his teacher to bring yoga to those with severe spinal cord injury. NSCIA helps people rebuild their lives after spinal cord injury by providing education, resources, and peer support for survivors and their friends.
