Spring 2018 Session
We are all aware of how therapeutic a meditation practice can be, but not always clear on the how’s and why’s. Join Sho Higuchi in a special teacher training weekend to explore how these ancient yogic techniques can bring healing into many aspects of our lives. Fusing together the western scientific and more classical eastern approaches, we’ll explore practical applications to meditation, kriya, and pranayama techniques to help restore balance, harmony, and ease into our everyday lives.
In the modern day, there is more and more scientific research being done that reveals the benefits and healing properties of meditation practice. This training will focus on the therapeutic and healing applications of meditation techniques that yogis have already been using for centuries. Trainees will gain the tools necessary to assess which techniques can be suitable to help restore ease into their student’s lives based on their individual needs. This training is great for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of meditation, those looking to incorporate a regular (and practical) meditation practice into their lives, and teachers looking to learn new therapeutic techniques.
Upon completion, students receive a 18-hour completion certificate, which qualifies for Yoga Alliance CE credits.
