Adrienne is a long time yoga practitioner—40 years-plus—and a teacher since 1994. She is known as a teacher’s teacher, and with her graceful, yet unyielding, manner has participated in and led advanced training courses. She has certified hundreds of students who now teach throughout the United States and internationally.
For four years, Adrienne was the Director of Teaching Programs and Teacher Training at the Jivamukti Yoga School. She has also directed advanced training programs at Atmananda and has been a faculty member of Yoga Sutra’s 200-hour and advanced training programs. As one of a small group of senior teachers in the yoga community, she is able to perceive students abilities. She weaves together a class that is not only challenging, but spiritually satisfying. She has designed individual and group programs for specialized needs including, but not limited to, corporations, seniors, children, teens, prenatal, and students with anxiety disorders, headaches, insomnia, addiction, chronic conditions or illness. She believes that her spiritual practice must be lived daily and incorporated into all of her actions; to keep improving and refining as an individual, not only when she is on her yoga mat.
Adrienne describes her classes as: inspired, good and well-informed choreography, challenging yet accessible to all and dynamic flow.
Adrienne’s music: A bit eclectic yet extremely suitable for yoga – to help the student feel very uplifted and focused. So world music, upbeat chant, lounge, etc.
