Stephanie started practicing yoga in 2008 when her chronic back pain became unbearable. After finding Unnata® Aerial Yoga, she was not only able to use the silk to heal her physical pain, but to heal the mental, emotional and spiritual suffering that had played in the background of her life. Stephanie completed her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification through Sacred Sounds Yoga. In February 2015, after 6 years of practicing and studying with Michelle Dortignac, founder of Unnata® Aerial Yoga, she became a certified Unnata® Aerial Yoga teacher.
Stephanie uses her experiences of healing, chanting, meditation and physical movement to spread yoga and light to places and people that may not have otherwise found it. She is a practicing visual artist based in Brooklyn, NY. She is interested in permaculture, social justice and the liberation of the soul to create a higher consciousness across communities.
Stephanie describes her classes as: fun, challenging, safe and supportive.
Stephanie’s music: No music; the breath is the music.
